Claire is 29 & lives by the seaside in Blackpool with her husband John-Paul, her daughter Hermione & their 8 year old labrador, Asha. Claire has always been interested in crafts due to her Mum's skill at sewing, painting and cake decorating. She started "making stuff" again when planning her wedding to John-Paul in 2003, where the pretty much everything but the Groom's and Usher's suits were made by her and her Mum.
Scrapbooking came to her attention whilst on maternity leave from work in 2006, when she spotted an  article in a craft magazine about making your own scrapbook, she went to the craft shop and was completely hooked. Its a hobby that has certainly taken over her house. Claire was asked to be a Guest Designer in February 2010 and going on to join the DT... Claire is always looking forward to receiving her next yellow
box!

If you had to pick one colour to wear for the rest of your life what would it be?

Blue, I just couldn't live without my favourite blue jeans.


Let’s talk films! What is your all time favourite film and why?

Labyrinth. I'm a big Muppet fan & the creatures in this film from Jim Henson's Workshop are amazing & very funny, there are so many I just couldn't pick a favourite.

When you get the munchies what is your chosen treat?

Chocolate & lots of it, Marzipan in Dark Chocolate is my absolute favourite.


Pick a city! If you could hop on a plane or jump in the car where in the world would choose to travel to?

Glennriding, Ullswater in the Lake District, despite it nearly always raining when we go camping there. Aira Force Waterfall nearby is just beautiful & a lovely walk.

 

If you could step into a time machine which era would you visit?

The early 1800's I love that era, the clothes are wonderful. I might be lucky enough to find my own Mr Darcy!

 

Tiffany’s or Thorntons?

Oh... erm... trinkets or truffles? Tiffanys - the jewellery wins.
